Every two years, the ACHA, with support from USA Hockey, assemble a team of college players and send them to the World University Games overseas.  This year Head Coach Dan Hestin and junior forward Joe Ford will participate in the tryouts for the 2011 games that will be held in Eruzurum, Turkey January 27-February 6.  Coach Hestin was 1 of 9 coaches selected to be an evaluator for the tryouts and will have a chance to join head coach Dave Debol of Michigan Dearborn and assistant coach Scott Balboni on the WUG coach staff.

Joe Ford was one of approximately 80 players selected to tryout for the WUG team.  Tryouts will take place August 6-8 at the Patterson Ice Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
