CHMA Playoffs to Be Broadcast on Fasthockey.comPublished on: February 24, 2010
The College Hockey Mid-America Conference of the ACHA has announced video broadcasts of all games from its upcoming playoff tournament, which is taking place February 26th-28th at S&T Bank Arena in Indiana, PA. These broadcasts will be available on FASTHockey, an online pay-per-view service offering live streaming video from a wide variety of hockey games across North America. The playoff broadcasts can be accessed by visiting the fasthockey.com homepage, where visitors can purchase a $6 credit to gain access to the game feed of their choice. Six teams qualified for the playoffs: Slippery Rock, West Virginia, Duquesne, IUP, Pitt, and Washington & Jefferson. The playoffs will kick off on Friday with Duquesne vs. W&J at 6:50 PM and Pitt vs. IUP at 9:50 PM. Slippery Rock will then meet the lower-seeded of the two winners at 5:00 PM on Saturday, while West Virginia will face the other remaining team at 8:00 PM. The winners of those two games will then face off in the championship game at 3:30 PM on Sunday, with an awards ceremony to follow. Calling the action on FASTHockey will be Ben Livingston, Pitt Hockey’s Public Address Announcer and the host of WPTS Pittsburgh’s Pond Talk Hockey Radio Show.
